What we collect
CanarySpot works without an account. If you create one (email + password via Supabase Auth), we store your email and your saved events. The feedback form stores the message and, only if you choose to leave it, your email. The weekly-digest form stores the email you submit.
Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 ONLY after you accept it in the cookie banner — declining or ignoring the banner means no analytics scripts load at all. Two functional cookies remember your language and device type; they identify nobody.
What we never do
We do not sell or share personal data, run ads, or track you across other sites. Event data comes from public sources (venues, town halls, ticketing platforms).
Your rights
Write to us through the feedback form to access or delete anything tied to your email — account, saved events, digest subscription. Deletion is processed manually within 30 days.
Hosting
The site runs on Vercel (EU/US edge network) with data stored in Supabase (EU region, AWS Frankfurt).
