These canapés explore themes of melancholy, excess, and dark beauty, recited in a theatrical tone over bolognese-style rhythms. Each piece is a sensory experience — a mind-bending salad of chaos and elegance, where jazz becomes a mirror of the human condition. Care for a napkin? Excesos y Decesos consists of original musical compositions and literary experiments that blend and synthesise emotions, leading us into extreme landscapes with no concessions to sonic or literary stereotypes — which is precisely why we will never play at the Festival de Benidorm, nor do we expect anyone to hear us on the kind of jazz playlists that play in dental waiting rooms. Ofrendas Paganas presents interpretations of compositions that have resonated as eclectic dogmas, including unexpected audience interactions and spontaneous creations.
