ELISEO LLOREDA SOLO GUITAR. Eliseo Lloreda is a jazz guitarist born in Tenerife. A composer and modern guitar teacher at two leading music schools in Tenerife, he has also given masterclasses at national and international level. Influenced by guitarist Carlos Santana, he began playing guitar self-taught and performed with various rock and pop bands on the island. In 1978 he moved to Madrid to work on theatrical music projects. He returned to the Canary Islands in 1984 and began studying music more formally at the Centro de Estudios Musicales, discovering the sonic possibilities of jazz. In 1993 he returned to Madrid to further his jazz studies, and in 1994, back in Tenerife, he founded and led the group Vía Brasil, blending jazz with Brazilian rhythms.
