'Casting Lear' - Primavera en la Fundación 2026

An autofiction by Andrea Jiménez that reimagines 'King Lear' through the search for a father, inviting a different actor each night to embody Lear in a fake casting process that questions paternity, emotional inheritance and the way the past shapes us. The work explores the relationship between biography and Shakespearean classic, playing with the idea of real and metaphorical fathers and opening a space for reflection on how we might imagine new endings for inherited stories we believe to be fixed.
