"Grito" — A one-man show by Hovik Keuchkerian. There is probably no place in the world where freedom of expression carries as much value, meaning, and weight as on a stage when a comedian steps onto it. Hovik Keuchkerian returns to stand-up after more than fifteen years away from the comedy circuit. He comes back with GRITO, a show in which he reconnects with his essence as a comedian. Sharp, deep, and at times deliberately unsettling, he fires his words like a relentless burst of gunfire, diving into the heart of today's most pressing social issues. War, intolerance, extremism, the absence of humanity, the excess of humanity, and the manipulation to which societies are subjected — these are some of the themes Hovik tackles with his trademark caustic humour and commanding stage presence. But above all, GRITO is an act of communion — an invitation to look at the world and at ourselves without the limitations imposed by those in power. Grito is a call to break free and step into the spaces where life truly lives.
