'Tomamos la palabra' brings together twelve authors who share poetry drawn from experience, memory and their own voices, accompanied by illustrator Ángela Sabina and singer Elena Pérez Negrín. The project pays tribute to the women writers who have paved the way and continue to widen it with their living, necessary words. 'Tomamos la palabra' is a gathering of voices that assert themselves, support one another and find mutual recognition. Twelve authors — Mª Luz Alvarado Montesdeoca, Elisa Anceaume, Meli Delgado, Rosa Galdona, Sol García, Ángeles Hernández Cruz, Nuria Jerez Cubas, Carmensa León, Maca Martinón, Karmen Peraza Dorta, María Candelaria Pérez Galván and Ana Robles — build a shared space where experience and memory are transformed into poetry. The collection also incorporates the visual perspective of Ángela Sabina, the work's illustrator, and the performance of Elena Pérez Negrín, whose voice amplifies the emotional dimension of the whole. This 'gathering' is, above all, a recognition of all the women writers who opened doors with their words and of those who continue to do so today. Their voices sustain a tradition that expands, renews itself and keeps opening doors so that others may take the floor.
