A contemporary recreation of Tina Modotti's landmark 1929 exhibition at the Library of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. The exhibition pays visual and documentary tribute to the only solo show held by the Italian photographer during her lifetime, curated by Nieves Rodríguez Méndez. The display revisits the original installation, presenting thirty-six images from the private collection of Reinhard Schulz, director of Galerie Bilderwelt, mounted directly on the wall to emphasise the documentary and experimental character of Modotti's work. The exhibited pieces also include three photographs by Edward Weston and an iconic image of Frida Kahlo.
