In 2026, MUSA turns its gaze back to Mexico — a country that starred in one of its earliest editions, in 2015. This return revisits that bond from a fresh perspective, drawing closer to a land of extraordinary diversity as well as the deep historical and human ties linking Mexico and the Canary Islands. Bial HClap performs in his live band format with 4 artists on stage. This music producer and DJ, who has left a significant mark on hip hop in his hometown of Guadalajara, has performed across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. In 2005 he founded the label Handiclap Records. Throughout his career he has collaborated with Pato Machete, Capricornio Man (El Gran Silencio), and Dr. Shenka (Panteón Rococó), among others. He has performed at clubs and festivals across Europe and the Americas, including CPH Distortion (Copenhagen), MAPAS (Gran Canaria), SXSW (Austin), Pilsen Fest (Chicago), and the Karneval der Kulturen (Berlin). He has also shared the stage with Chico Trujillo, Panteón Rococó, La Yegros, and Mon Laferte. Bial HClap has established himself as one of the most prominent remixers and producers in hip hop, neo cumbia, and global bass, with official remixes for Los Mirlos, Fidel, Sonido Gallo Negro, La Dame Blanche, and Celso Piña. His work has been released by labels across the Americas and Europe, including Buddha Bar (France), Worldwide Records (Mexico), and Tropical Bass Records (Germany), among others. His most recent project is 'Sierra Madre', born from blending the sounds of traditional Mexican music with indigenous sonorities and electronic rhythms, hip hop, cumbia, and global bass throughout the production. The son jarocho instrumental arrangements were recorded and performed by Noé González, 'Los cojolites'. The new official remix album of 'Sierra Madre' is a forward-thinking proposition that fearlessly looks to the past to fuse it with the musical currents of the present and future, featuring producers such as Toy Selectah, Pahua (Sotomayor), Nurrydog, Boogát, Andrés Digital, and others.
