Chiguergue Festivals 2026

Chiguergue celebrates its popular festivals in honour of San Roque in 2026, with activities for the whole family, dancing, children's festivals, exhibitions, a romería mass, devotion and traditions. 07:00 – Batucada through the streets of the village with the comparsa Kimbara. 12:00 – Arrival of the JM Sound sound system team. 21:00 – Magos dance with the groups Parranderos de Tágara, Sámara, Araza, La Era and Parranda La Quincena. Followed by dancing with the group Toke Latino. 11:00 – Activities for the little ones with Komba Producciones: water inflatables, monitors, games and a foam party. 21:00 – Holy Mass and procession along the traditional route, accompanied by the municipal band Agrupación Musical Isorana, authorities and faithful. During the procession, a fireworks display by Hermanos Toste in honour of San Roque. 23:00 – Open-air dance with the orchestras Toke Latino and Pasión Gomera into the early hours. 12:30 – Romería Holy Mass in honour of San Roque, celebrated by parish priest Don Julián Andrés Azcárate Acosta. Followed by the romería along the traditional route. On arrival at the square, a popular dance with San Roque and performances by the orchestras Corinto Band and Generación. 20:00 – Children's festival featuring Woman Magic and Mr. Magic Showman.
