El Pris Festivals 2026

The El Pris Festivals 2026 combine music, street dances, children's activities, comedy and tradition. Highlights include the Romería Barquera, the procession and sea procession of the Virgen del Carmen, Mass at the Cofradía, concerts and a fireworks display. The programme brings the community together for festive days by the sea. Thursday 27 August 19:30 – Performance by Los Esponjas del Norte. 21:00 – DJ set by DJ RDorta. 22:30 – DJ set by Renzzo El Selector. Friday 28 August 18:00 – Children's gala and parade, featuring Golden Fusión, Grupo Coreográfico Noemí, singer Samanta and guest talents. Venue: area between Infanta Isabel and Siervo de Dios. 22:00 – Performance by Swing Latinos. 00:00 – DJ set by DJ July. Saturday 29 August 10:00 – Bouncy castles. 15:30 – Bouncy castles and foam party. 19:00 – Children's activity 'Sirenita ponte la aleta'. 22:00 – Street dance with Tropin. 00:00 – DJ set by DJ Yera Waque. Sunday 30 August 11:00 – Romería Barquera. 12:00 – Procession of the Virgin from her chapel to La Laja. 14:00 – Paella for romería participants. 18:30 – Holy Mass. Followed by – Sea procession of the Virgin. Then – Ave María performed by Goyo Tavío. After – Concert by Banda Santa Cecilia. After – Procession of the Virgin through the fishing village. 22:00 – Fireworks display by Hermanos Tostes. Followed by – Performance by Pepe Benavente. Monday 31 August 16:00 – Children's party with bouncy castles and foam party. 19:00 – Children's hot chocolate. This year the Festivals in honour of the Virgen del Carmen in El Pris promise pure energy from the very first minute. We kick off on Thursday 27 August with a musical night: Los Esponjas del Norte, DJ RDorta and Renzzo El Selector will have us dancing like there's no tomorrow. Friday continues with the magic of the Children's Gala, always a highlight, and we close the night with Swing Latinos and DJ July, who never disappoint. Saturday brings a morning of bouncy castles and foam to let loose, and in the afternoon comes the wildest moment: the 'Sirenita ponte la aleta' obstacle course, full of fun and good humour. And of course, we close with a street dance — this time with Tropin and DJ Yera Waque. Sunday 30 will be one of the most special moments: the Romería Barquera and the procession of the Virgin to La Laja. Then Mass outside the Cofradía, the sea procession and the route through the fishing village. The voice of Goyo Tavío, the AM Santa Cecilia Band, the fireworks by Hermanos Toste and Pepe Benavente will make for an unforgettable night.
