El Molledo Festivities 2026

The El Molledo festivities offer exhibitions, open-air cinema, tournaments, children's activities, and religious celebrations with processions, music, and fireworks. They include street dances, festivals, performances by local groups, comedy, and sporting events, culminating in a musical finale bringing together artists and residents. 17:00–19:00 – Opening of the chapel and inauguration of the exhibition 'Vestida de Sol', featuring photographs and sacred vestments from the hermitage's heritage. WEDNESDAY 19 AUGUST 17:00–19:00 – Opening of the exhibition 'Vestida de Sol', featuring photographs and sacred vestments from the hermitage's heritage. 16:00 – Envite Tournament 'El Molledo 2026' 21:00 – Family open-air cinema: LILO & STITCH (live-action adaptation) FRIDAY 21 AUGUST 07:00 – Rocket shower, festive bell ringing, and a floral dawn parade by batucada TAMATIMBA through the village streets, marking the official start of the festivities. 10:00 – Arrival and setup of the sound and lighting equipment. 19:00 – Extraordinary reception of the Sacred Images from the Parish Church of San Fernando Rey. 21:00 – Gran Latinazo 2026 with Marcos Gorrín, Grupo Saoco, Wamampy and Armonía Show SATURDAY 22 AUGUST – Main Day 11:00 – Bouncy castles for children. 17:00 – Grand Children's Festival featuring the village's young stars and the Anabel Melián Dance Company. 20:30 – Recitation of the Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries). 21:00 – Solemn religious service in honour of the patron saints, celebrated by parish priest D. Victor Manuel Fdez. Suárez and sung by the Coro San Buenaventura. Followed by a procession with the venerated images of La Purísima Concepción and Santa Rosa de Lima, accompanied by the Banda Municipal de Santiago del Teide, authorities, and faithful along the traditional route. On arrival at the square, Ave María performed by Javier Linares. Afterwards, a grand fireworks display by Hermanos Toste de Los Realejos. Then, GRAN VERBENAZO 2026 with: Malibú Band, Marcos Gorrín, Arguayo Band and La Sabrosa SUNDAY 23 AUGUST – Feast of Santa Rosa de Lima 11:00 – Water castles and foam party for children and the young at heart. 16:00 – 3rd edition of the futsal match between singles and married players 'Abiguey de León González'. 18:30 – Recitation of the Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries). 19:00 – Holy Mass celebrated by D. Victor Manuel Fdez. Suárez and sung by the Coro Caná. Followed by a procession along the traditional route accompanied by the Agrupación Folclórica Garajonay, authorities, and faithful. Closing fireworks display. 21:00 – Festival 'Herencia y Legado', a musical journey through the Eight Canary Islands featuring representatives from each island and the Asociación Sociocultural Herederos de Chasna. Directed by Álvaro Mansito. Comedy closing with the show 'Noches con Cristito y la madre Canaria'. 15:30 – Water castles for children. 18:30 – Closing celebration with performances by Nataly, la Voz de México, Maikel Jiménez and Grupo Atlantic.
