'La Caja 507'

As part of the series 'El cuerpo del delito', Filmoteca Canaria presents a journey through four films separated by decades, styles, and sensibilities, yet united by a persistent intuition: wherever violence erupts, the rules of coexistence change too. Modesto, an honest, hardworking man, manages a bank branch on the Costa del Sol. One day, robbers break in, blow open the safety deposit boxes, and leave him trapped inside. By chance, when he looks at the contents of box 507, he discovers that his daughter's death, which occurred years earlier, was no accident.
