"La Partenaire" by La Medinaes Company, at Teatro El Sauzal. La Partenaire is the daughter of a small-time magician whose career ended after a trick "supposedly" went wrong. Determined to vindicate her remarkable mentor, La Partenaire gathers and shares testimonies from the various people who witnessed that fateful night. An extraordinary story brought to life by Cristina Medina, who plays all the characters while simultaneously acting, singing, performing magic and making the audience understand that magic is about believing in illusion — and that illusion has the power to make any wish come true. Artistic credits: Actress: Cristina Medina. Pianist: Pablo Jara. Drums: Mario Quixal. Audience: Recommended for ages 16 and over. Duration: approx. 70 minutes.
