Lucio Arce, El remedio a la tristeza, at Café Teatro Rayuela

Argentine singer-songwriter Lucio Arce comes to Café Teatro Rayuela in Santa Cruz de Tenerife to perform his new album, El Remedio a la Tristeza, live. Tango, milonga, candombe, bolero and vals come together on the sixth record from an artist with over two decades of recordings and a very personal take on Río de la Plata music. In his songs, Lucio Arce weaves everyday stories, vivid characters, nostalgia, lunfardo slang, irony and plenty of humour — steering clear of clichés to prove that tango can also make you smile. El Remedio a la Tristeza brings together twelve original compositions and once again features artistic production by Néstor Basurto, a long-time collaborator.
