The coastal neighbourhood of San Andrés in Santa Cruz de Tenerife celebrates its 2026 Virgen del Carmen festival with major popular events, festivals, galas, traditions, religious ceremonies, and of course, lively open-air dances. Friday, 24 July 6:00 PM – Street parade with La Chalana, Batucada Anaga, and the giant-head figures. 7:00 PM – Children's Gala 'Princess and Queen of the Sea 2026' at the Castillo de San Andrés stage. 9:30 PM – Ni 1 pelo de tonto at the Castillo de San Andrés stage. 11:30 PM – Dance with Clase Aparte at the Castillo de San Andrés stage. 10:00 AM – Craft stalls near the Castillo de San Andrés stage. 4:00 PM – Carmen Dance Party with Panorama Latino, Manavy Band, Grupo la Calle, Seis de seis, Sonora Olympia, and Dorada Band at the Castillo de San Andrés stage. Sunday, 26 July 11:00 AM – Water Party in the Castillo de San Andrés area. 4:00 PM – Afternoon dance with Orquesta Wamampy, Los Concejales, and La Clase Aparte at the Castillo de San Andrés stage. 6:00 PM – Mass in honour of the Virgen del Carmen (sung by Grupo Folclórico Paiba), followed by a land-and-sea procession along the traditional route and a fireworks display.
