'Ladrillos'

A showcase that celebrates artisanal craft and demonstrates how an everyday object can be transformed into a contemporary creation. An exhibition in RGB and VGA. Marta Alonso's exhibition brings together three ceramic works — 'Matrimonio', 'Hora de comer' and 'Noche y día' — exploring colour, texture and the finish of the brick as an artistic object. Through experimental glazes and techniques such as raku, the artist transforms ordinary pieces into expressive compositions that engage with light and space.
